Dare to Dream

The 2023 Mark Pardo fashion show was hosted at The Historic Lobo Theater and benefited the New Mexico Dream Center to help Albuquerque homeless youth and fight human trafficking.

  • Organization and structure to the overall event
  • Assisted Creative Team on coordination and ideas
  • Procured an MC
  • Reached out and brought in the New Mexico Office of the Attorney General to partner with us
  • Coordinated with models for fittings as well as running rehearsals prior to the show
  • Created the marketing look and advertising for the show (including: flyers, posters, and social media content)
  • Reviewed and finalized venues
  • Worked with a marketing company to integrate press releases, provide photography/video for the show, and assist in community awareness and advertising
  • Oversaw volunteers from 2 schools, Mark Pardo, and the New Mexico Dream Center

2023 Mark Pardo Photoshoot

Worked with the Mark Pardo Creative Team to put together and implement a high-end fashion, professional photoshoot. Including coordinating the photoshoot, working directly with the photographer on poses and shots, and facilitating final photo reviews for the team.

Pricing Worksheet Spreadsheet

Created a Pricing Worksheet Template for Bueno Foods that saved time in creating pricing for new products or new customers.

NPD Results Spreadsheet

Created a spreadsheet that helped track New Products throughout each quarter and provided easy reporting for Senior Management and the NPD Coordination team.

Promotion Calendar Project

An annual project of creating Retail promotional calendars for store chains and distributors throughout the nation.

  • Looking at product mix, pricing, gross profit, and sales history
  • Review of past promotions to see how they did
  • Creation of discounts and promotional calendars for Sales to implement

New Product Development Coordination

Organized and simplified the New Product Development process.
Worked with IT to change from an emailed word form to an internal online form that touches multiple departments, has electronic sign-offs, and covers the entire process of submission to completion.

Sunday School Curriculum

Created a multi-year curriculum to help children grow spiritually. Explores the fundamentals of:

  • Who is God?
  • The Life of Jesus: Who He was and what did He do
  • Why is Salvation important?
  • What does it mean to be a Christian?
  • Overview understanding of the books of the Bible

Management 581: Research for Marketing Management:
Our group did an in-depth research analysis of the exercise industry. After doing the initial review of major exercise trends, some of the reasons why people exercise (or do not), and types of exercise, we narrowed down our research into the Fitness DVD industry: who buys, why they buy, etc…

Our preliminary research (for Stage 1) is primarily from three major marketing databases: Mintel, IBISWorld, and Experian Simmons OneView.

The project is set in 3 stages:
Stage 1: Background research report
Stage 2: Survey and analysis
Stage 3: Class Presentation

Management 586: Strategic Logistics Management:
Our group had to do a logistics project either on a company or a logistics process.
We did our project on Costco Inventory Management – how it is currently, can it be improved, etc…

The Presentation is twofold:
Stage 1: Research Paper
Stage 2: Recorded Presentation

Stage 1 Research methods:
– Personal interviews
– IBISWorld Database
– Other Web sources

Stage 2 Process:
– Developing PowerPoint
– Recording and editing (via Camstasia)
– Converting into mp4.
